About this deal

Hetty has a useful handle attachment, meaning you can attach the tools you need when cleaning and access them nice and easily. Some Hetty models come with an extra extension hose, which enable you to take the suction point right to the top of the stairs with Hetty sat at the bottom. Even if you don’t get the extra extension hose, Hetty already has a very long hose that is longer than most cylinder vacuums. If you don’t need a full-size Henry but want all the same features, the HVR160 is a great choice. In fact, for most people it’s probably the better option due to its cheaper price.

The standard Henry and Hetty vacuums are great machines that will get almost any vacuum job done with little fuss, but there’s now lots of other options, some of which may be more appealing depending on what you need. Aside from the cordless design, it has a 6 litre capacity (which is huge for a cordless), power boost mode, and HepaFlo bags. Like other Henry models, it comes with several tools, such as a crevice nozzle and dusting brush. The bagged design also means it could be a good choice for those with allergies. The James has many of the same features as the Henry. The eight litre dust capacity is one litre smaller, but it’s still one of the largest cylinders on the domestic market. It also has an A-rating for energy efficiency, HepaFlo bags and a number of accessories. Some people prefer the ability to wind the cable in and James allows you to do that. He also has a caddy in which he can nicely store away and attachments. A plugged cable means it is pretty easy to replace the mains cable. One of the great aspects of this is its allergy retention, which is great for those of us who start sneezing every time the dust gets agitated. That’s a difficult question, as the best Henry Hoover depends on your requirements. For everyday vacuuming, we still think the standard Henry is the best choice. It’s powerful, has a huge capacity and is now much more energy efficient. The exception is if you have pets. In this case, the Harry is a great choice due to its active charcoal filter and pet tool.

It has a useful hi/low feature which allows you to switch seamlessly between the more powerful 1,200w and a lower 600w mode. It’s a great way to manage your electricity use. For most jobs, 600w will be more than enough power to get the job done, but occasionally, for really stubborn tasks, you might want to switch up to the more powerful 1,200w. This allows you to do just that. In the light of recent European legislation, though, Numatic have released a less powerful 620w model, but they’ve put in a huge effort to tune this up so despite the power drop you still get excellent performance – capable of meeting any job.

Henry

An additional versatility with the Henry range are the bags. You can use the same set of bags throughout the majority of their machines. The wet and dry, the pet hair, and the larger models all use a one-size-fits-all-capacities bag. It makes it easier to shop. Durability & Reliability

However, Charles is quite a bit lighter than George and doesn’t come with as many accessories as his older brother. The main thing missing with Charles when compared to George is the extra carpet / upholstery cleaner. If this is something you require, then you’d be better off going for George, but if it’s something you don’t feel you need, then Charles is the man for you as he’s generally cheaper than George and lighter. Over the years we’ve seen his family grow rapidly. We’ve since been introduced to Hetty, Charles, George and James, among others. They specialise in all sorts of jobs whether it’s clearing up troublesome pet hair or devouring spilled liquids. There’s also a number of different Henry versions, including the popular Henry Xtra, Henry Allergy, Henry Pet, Henry Eco and Henry Micro. There’s even now a Henry Cordless option too.

Hetty Hoover is the female equivalent of the well-known Henry Hoover, but other than appearance there is actually no difference between Henry and Hetty, at least if we’re talking the standard Henry model. Hetty is pink in colour – and can be referred to as the pink Henry Hoover – whereas Henry comes in traditional red. She has her name printed on the top and comes complete with her own pretty eyelashes, but that is the only difference when compared to the Henry 160-11 model. Hetty has the same capacity, power and weight. With a power rating of over 1000W, the George is considerably more powerful than other Numatic vacuums. For dry materials, it has a huge 15 litre capacity, while for wet cleaning this is reduced to 9 litres. Yes, certain models are able to clean things like your drains, standing water, or any spillages in the kitchen or bathroom. The Charles and the George are both made to be wet and dry vacuum cleaners. While the George also cleans carpets and upholstery, the Charles is able to sook up spillage without exploding. I have allergies. Do Henry have a vacuum cleaner I can use? Power SettingsThese vacuums were originally British made exclusively, but now they have manufacturing plants all over the world. Demand grew and the Henry crossed the sea.
