Briottet Crème de Pêche Liqueur 70 cl
About this deal
Following the development of the blanc cassis aperitif (white wine with Crème de Cassis), the company progressively focused its activities on producing fruit crèmes, liquors, brandies and marcs de Bourgogne.
Peach liqueur is a clear liqueur that is made with peach and often has touches of other fruit in it such as oranges. Bols makes a peach liqueur, as does Briottet, Divas and La Playa. Berentzen Peach Liqueur is made with special sun-ripened peaches that are carefully selected and chosen for their superior quality. The base spirit is 100 percent single-grain wheat, ensuring a smooth sip and a clean finish. As with all Briottet’s cremes this tastes of the fruit it was made from, juicy fresh ripe peaches. Try as an aperitif with a dry white wine, with a sparkling wine or straight with an ice cube. kg de pêches de vignes, une bonne bouteille de vin blanc, un collant pour filtrer le jus, 250 g de sucre de cannes et 1/2 litre de goutte (goutte du grand père de mon homme). Mix everything together with a large spoon. Let it sit in the fridge for a while before serving, if you wish! Or, pour over some ice and enjoy right away.
Peach schnapps is one of the most famous peach types of alcohol. Schnapps is a German word that refers to different types of spirit drinks. Peach wasn’t original among the common ones used to make it but apricots were. But when peach schnapps was created using a neutral grain spirit with the peach, it became popular. That’s not to say this peach old fashioned isn’t boozy, it’s an old fashioned! But it tames the fire just a little bit, while amping up the sweetness. In terms of mixers, peach schnapps is often served with orange juice or lemonade. A favorite of ours is peach schnapps and Sprite. What other types of peach alcohol is available? The palate offers similarly sweet peach flavors with almond and orange zest to balance it out. The finish is tangy, sweet, and reminiscent of hard candy. 5. Pallini PeachcelloSimple syrup can be made very easily at home – simply combine equal amounts of sugar and water, stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves and turn heat off just before it comes to the boil. Cool then store in a bottle or jar in the fridge for future use. Berentzen started as a very small local grain distillery in Germany in 1758. The journey has been long but they kept gaining expertise, learning new things, and expanding until they became the globally recognized company they are now. A couple things, it’s literally only a quarter of an ounce, so I’d consider giving it a shot if you do happen to have a bottle of Campari. The purpose is just to cut the sweetness a little bit, and you honestly really don’t taste much of the Campari. Pallini Peachello is made from special peaches that were the favorite of Virgilio Pallini Sr.’s wife – one of the many family members involved in the business. She would preserve lots of them in alcohol when they were in season so she could enjoy them all year. Once they were finally finished, she used the leftover liquid as the base for a delicious liqueur, adding fresh peach juice to enhance the flavor further. You can drink peach schnapps straight but even the most hardcore fan tends not to as it is very sweet. But if you do serve it this way, have it at room temperature in tulip-shaped glass flutes, 1-2 ounces per glass. It is usually served as an aperitif or after-dinner drink.
A déguster en apéritif avec un vin blanc sec de type Aligoté, avec un effervescent ou encore seule sur glaçon. Rothman and Winter Orchard Peach Liqueur is true to its name, featuring a variety of Australian orchard peaches that all contribute something special to the profile. The varietals all come from the Oststeiermark Region which successfully grows many amazing types of peaches. Included in this liqueur are the Roter Ellerstadter, Haven, and Weinberg varietals. But what if you don’t have some of these ingredients? No problem, it still works without the green chartreuese. It also works without the Campari, just use a full ounce of the Martinique rhum. It’s a fantastic recipe, so I’ll do a post on that soon – but that punch uses a while 1/4 ounce of Orinoco Bitters. These bitters which the team at the Dead Rabbit helped create are fantastic. And so I figured since they work so well in thatrecipe with Peach, maybe they’d work in this old fashioned?
Crème de Pêche Details
Merlet Creme de Peche features small, wild peaches that grow in the vineyards in and around the Cognac region. Though small, these peaches have a strong, highly concentrated flavor that lends itself quite nicely to this delicate spirit. They’re also unique in that the flesh is red and white instead of the more common golden yellow color. I’ve tried this a number of different ways using both bourbon and rye, and using demerara simple syrup vs. no simple syrup. The Rothman and Winter liqueur collection boats three exceptional expressions, each with a rich character and bold authenticity.
