About this deal

Bombay Bramble is successful at creating a sophisticated, upscale interpretation of the berry infused pink gin that took the world by storm in the late 2010’s. However, I think the balance, the presence of gin and gin botanical on the nose and palate positions Bombay Bramble to be more than just part of the fad. Bombay Bramble is perfectly designed for the summer Gin and Tonic. I find that it pairs well with any and all citrus— even an Evans Gin and Tonic works well here. I recommend a sweeter tonic, because the sweetness causes those berry flavors to swell into something brighter (and more literally— peak summer).

There is no wrong answer – both liquors are delicious! Does Bombay Bramble contain sugar? Color: Deep reddish pink, almost suggestive of magenta or cranberry juice. It is perfectly transparent.

Bombay Bramble is best enjoyed simply with tonic, poured over ice and garnished with a wedge of lemon. Clearly, bartenders should treat Bombay Bramble as a specialty gin. It works well enough in a Negroni. The higher proof means it can be applied in a Martini, but Dry Vermouth is not a natural compliment. Avoid super savory applications like the Very Dirty Martini or the Gibson. There are also many different types of food that can be paired with Bombay Sapphire gin. Some of the most popular food items include sushi, Thai food, and Indian food. What does Bombay Bramble taste like?

NEGRONI BIANCO

Bombay Sapphire Master of Botanicals, Ivano Tonutti, said: “Launching a flavour expression was always going to take time as it’s important that the taste experience comes purely from natural botanicals and ingredients. Bombay Sapphire gin is a London dry gin that is produced by Bombay Spirits Company. It is made with botanicals such as juniper berries, angelica, coriander, and lemon peel. You mention that dry vermouth does not naturally go with this gin–would you suggest, then, making something along the lines of a Martinez, that is, using sweet vermouth? Bombay Sapphire served over cubed ice in a traditional ‘copper mule mug’ – charged with spicy ginger beer and finished with freshly squeezed lime – adding balance to the serve. Bombay Sapphire is one of my favorite gins — the taste of summer in an iconic turquoise bottle; the literal gin to my tonic and a superior base with which to make a mean martini.
