Flutterbye™ Flying Flower Fairy
About this deal
Heres what Alice Said… “Firstly these fairies are really pretty, they have lovely hair and beautiful wings.
Naturally, as most modernized toys tend to, the Flutterbye requires batteries, and a considerable more amount of patience than the fairy projectile device of my kinder-years. The girls love all things magical, so when we were asked if we would like to review Flying Fairy by Flutterbye we couldn’t wait for our new fairy friend to arrive. I think this technology is very exciting, and I can't wait to see how it develops with children's toys over the next few years. What Daughter Says: The technology of tomorrow is present in the toys of today, as seen in the Flutterbye fairy. My daughter loves all things fairy so when I told her she had been sent a flying fairy to review she was delighted. When the fairy descends put your hand under the fairies legs, it doesn’t have to be too close and she will flying upwards again.
Instructions for using it: Turn on the fly Fairy switch, hold the flying fairy legs, the Fairy rotates leaving your hand. Place the base on a level surface with plenty of room around you, press the launch button and let the fun begin. How wonderful it would be to ride on a magic carpet beneath fireworks, and into a mystical cave of treasure and gems- Or to live in a miniature, unseen, world where I could ride sparrows and use my fairy magic to blossom flowers! With an unsuspectingly simple design, at face, the Flutterbye promises to 'fly' (hover, really) just a foot above your child's outstretched hand, for several minutes on a single charge. Very dissapointed especially as i got the blue one from the US so it will be difficult to send back.siteWideMessageClose - These help us provide important messages that you are able to dismiss once read. The Deluxe Light Up Flutterbye Fairy has a bit of a learning curve when you are first getting started with it. By the press of the launch button, watch the magic unfold and guide your Flutterbye fairy through the air with movements of your hands. It took us a little while to suss out the hand movements to get it not to zip up to the ceiling but once we had it under control it was fabulous fun. Wow, what can I say, this is a very heartwarming, touching and informative site on the experiences of a family coping with Aspergers.
This process alone makes this toy, in my opinion, one that an adult, or at least an older child, needs to be around to assist with. Switch the base on and turn the fairy to the off position, once done place your Fairy onto the base (her display stand) and place the charging cord into her skirt.
When I began to hear all the holiday buzz about Spin Master's latest interactive creation, the Flutterbye fairy, I was immediately taken back to the memories from my childhood. Once we figured out the Flutterbye control techniques, it was rather addictive to fly the fairy around the house. while she needs to take the flight, the cord should be removed and both the base and fairy should be in ON state. Once you get the hang of using the flutterbye its as easy as riding a bike so 6 year olds will fully enjoy the challenge and achievement when mastering their pretty little fairy. The toy is intended to be used indoors (no, really, you may only use it indoors or else wind and a lack of ceiling may see your Flutterbye drift into the sunset).
