About this deal

While these aren’t serious books, they’re always well constructed and designed to keep you guessing. And despite the seasonal title, it isn't really all that Christmassy (so don't worry if you can't wait until December to pick this one up! In its day it was the scene of minor league baseball games, high school football, auto racing, and some important boxing matches. DNA was found under the girl's fingernails and at the murder site but it could not be matched with anyone at the time. Rosenfelt includes plenty of Carpenter’s trademark humor and dedication to justice with a dash of violence but without buckets of blood and gore.

Laurie looks into it and finds out that Dad has been arrested for a murder committed fourteen years earlier. The movie landscape is filled with the movies I buried; for every "Rambo", "The Natural" and "Rocky", there are countless disasters. I have gotten to this dubious position with absolutely no planning, and at no stage in my life could I have predicted it. Plus, this time there are two new dogs - Andy represents one dog in court, and then later represents the owner of the titular dachshund in a murder conviction. The obvious theory was that she had fought hard to protect herself and scratched her killer, since traces of skin were under her fingernails.

As a former lawyer I love this series - unlike most lawyer series, Andy Carpenter does not take himself too seriously and has a great sense of humor which is on display quite often here. Dachshund Through The Snow: This collection captures the nostalgic feeling of winter wonderland, filled with whimsical dachshunds, cosy mittens, and joyous Christmas trees. Andy’s relationship with each and every one of them is my favorite part of the series, and reading Rosenfelt's books is as comfortable as slippers and hot chocolate. This task seems impossible since he has no idea of the motive, why the girl was their victim, and what others may have participated in her murder. It's a pleasure to read a mystery where every sentence, even every word, advances the plot or comments on it.All my cards are 150mm x 150mm printed onto smooth white 300gsm card, with a recycled kraft envelope. Andy’s humor and the overall tone make this a light read, but beneath the surface we’re given much to consider.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. In her eyes, the end of Christmas has always been February 1, though she has never adequately explained the reason for that monthlong extension. With our range of quirky cards you'll find heartfelt or hilarious ways to let them know how much they mean to you. The ending also hints at a future direction to the series and a further expansion of some series regulars. In addition, they have partnered up with Ecologi to offset their carbon footprint and plant more trees! And here in the Northeast, which is where our home in Paterson, New Jersey, is, the climate has a Christmassy chill in the air by then. This book which contains legal drama and high stakes criminal investigation is the 20th in the Andy Carpenter series.
