About this deal

The character who CC mocked at every turn and decided to stereotype to push Tessa up in the Special McSpecialson Seat. They are attacked by automatons hired by the Magister which nearly breach through the institute before they are put down. But all I can see is the Shadowhunters falling into the bad guy's trap foolishly and conveniently so Will can rush in for the rescue at the last minute.

It was her looking at the Internet culture going, “Huh… so people are really getting into steampunk, eh? He’s such a gentle, kind and patient soul and therefore the complete opposite of Will, yet this is exactly what draws me to him. I’m the first one to admit that this book has a very slow pacing and that there isn’t an awful lot of action, let alone an intriguing plot. First in Cassandra Clare's internationally bestselling Infernal Devices trilogy about the Shadowhunters.I know that it's a LAW for YA girls to have feelings for the total jerks instead of the good boys who at least can have a normal conversation with her without insulting her in every way possible! It’s taken me so long to read Clockwork Angel, what with being back to school for the unforeseeable future and having no time to read and the when I do I’ve forgotten who all the characters are. Unfortunately, once Tessa’s ship comes into port, she is forcefully thrown into a hidden paranormal world that she never knew existed. It’s one of my favourite series of novels, so I wanted to get the special edition (I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since it came out!

Well, other than the fact that the characters were almost CARBON COPIES of ones that I’d read in City of Bones, Draco Dormiens, Draco Sinister and Draco Veritas, there was just so much to hate. It's really difficult to give an overview of the book without spoiling it, which explains the fairly dull blurb. One of the best things about their relationship are not only their tender little moments but also their amazing bookish talks! The original (now hardbound) cover features Will Herondale, with the eponymous clockwork angel necklace in front of him, against a backdrop of London.

At the party, Magnus seeks Will and Tessa and they discover mysterious manuscripts in the library, which contain scribblings that indicate towards the formation of a clockwork army.

Charlotte informs him that de Quincey had laughed at the Enclave for mistaking him as the Magister, and Benedict Lightwood then had him killed. But all is not what it seems in London, after being left with "The dark sisters" Tessa discovers her world is not what it seems - and neither is she! They choose the most obvious hiding spot and then proceed to giggle whenever you get close, feeling so clever and genius. When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. But, we have to complete the full cliche, so of course Will has a mysterious past that leads Tessa to wonder how he copes with all of that pent up darkness… however, I’m slightly intrigued what it was all about. I also love the way Clare develops romance in her novels sine it is not cliched or quick with an instant connection with first sight, rather more, it develops slowly so that it becomes believable.

The most infuriating character of all has to be the handsome yet morally corrupt Will Herondale, who is similar to Jace, since Clare has raised so many questions about his elusive past and motives. The magic and mysteries are compelling and Victorian London is a fantastic backdrop to this steampunk tale about a girl who discovers she has incredible powers. First off, I honestly haven’t been spoiled for anything in this series (thank God), b

Oh, now I can see that all these Shadowhunters are a bunch of wimps, they can't even stop a rude girl from insulting their own guest, and we're supposed to believe they are the fierce protectors who stood between humans and demons?
