Aqua Dragons ID4001 World, Multicolor, 6 x 1.5 x 6 inches
About this deal
Their scientific name is Artemia Salinas, and they have been living in the sea and salty lakes for millions of years; right back to the time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth! We really enjoyed watching the Aqua dragons grow and I have to say it might of been more for me than the kids but we did all really enjoy it. The experience also includes signing a responsible Aqua Dragons ownership certificate, learning about the life cycle and anatomy of the creatures while you watch them hatch, grow through the naupuli stage to adults, eat, play and reproduce. We were recently asked if we would like to review Aqua Dragons which is total nostalgia for me, as when I was younger I had Sea Monkeys which are similar and I didn’t actually realise they still sold them. By day 3 we could just make out a few tiny dots in the tank and the kids enjoyed looking at these through the magnifying glass.
The instructions packet said to not over feed them, only feeding them every two days, using the provided food. From the crustacea family, Aqua Dragons look like tiny three eyed, long tailed, hairy headed dragons that grow up to 2cm long. This award winning kit contains everything you need to get started including the colour decorated tank, preserved eggs, food, pipette, feeding spoon and full instructions.
Aqua Dragons are three eyed, long tailed gracious funny little swimming animals from the crustacea family, that its eggs can be preserved in salt for long periods of time and hatched again one introduced into water! This kit contains even more hibernating dragon eggs, as well as more food to keep them growing and healthy! They were even around when Dinosaurs roomed the earth so how amazing is it that we can have our very own at home. There are different themes when it comes to the starter sets for Aqua Dragons and each kit includes everything that you will need to set it up; food, eggs and instructions and even the tank to grow them in.Supervise your kids, if you overfeed or try and rush the hatching process, it will fail like so many other people have said. After 2 weeks we have around 20-30 swimming around but they are still small for now and look a little like I would expect nits too rather than dragons. Doing this will allow any eggs that are still in the aquarium to hatch and you can watch the life cycle of the aqua dragons all over again.
